| Nitro Snowboards was started in Seattle Washington back in 1989 by Tommy Delago and Sepp Ardelt. If you’ve been in this game for a while than you know that a lot of snowboard companies have come and gone since then. Tommy and Sepp are still the owners and still spend lots of time doing what it was that inspired them to start Nitro in the first place; Riding and building the best snowboard products available.
Since its inception, Nitro has been known for being an innovative leader in snowboarding. From producing the first 3-piece adjustable heel cup binding to introducing the first snowboards with progressive side-cuts, Nitro has always been at the fore-front of design progression. 17 years later we’re stronger than ever producing Italian designed, superior fitting boots as well as designing cutting-edge L1 and L1Ta Outerwear.
