Eaglecrest provides a big mountain experience with a small mountain feel. Offering a variety of terrain for everyone in the family! Eaglecrest Ski Area is located in the heart of Southeast Alaska on Douglas Island, just 12 miles from downtown Juneau, Alaska's Capital City. Locals have known for years that skiing and snowboarding in Juneau is special. The diverse terrain and snow conditions will challenge everyone from the first timer to the expert thrill seeker.
Eaglecrest is Juneau's community owned ski area offering 4 chairlifts, and over 640 acres of skiable terrain. For those interested in hiking for their turns, the ridges above Eaglecrest offer a wide variety of natural, ungroomed terrain resting in the shadow of Alaska’s unparalleled beauty. Facilities at Eaglecrest include a professionally staffed Snow Sports School, a full-service Rental and Repair Shop, groomed Nordic Trails, and the Eaglecrest Grill.

Our rental fleet consists of some of the best equipment available. We rent Volkl skis, Marker Bindings, and Tecnica boots. Our snowboards, boots, & bindings are made by Burton.
Rossignol nordic rentals are also available.

The Eaglecrest Grill offers a wide variety of delicious choices from homemade soups, wraps,burgers and fries. Breakfast is served weekends and holidays.
Mountain Lift Coffee Stand serves your favorite coffee along with fresh baked goods designed to sweeten your day! Juneau also sports many fine dining establishments.
Downtown Juneau offers a wide variety of nightlife including theater, live bands, and pubs.
While there is no lodging at the mountain, Juneau has a wide variety of lodging. Eaglecrest is located 12 miles from downtown Juneau.
