Over 1000 acres of north-facing slopes allow for great skiing all season long. Our terrain offers something for everyone; from the beginner's hill to deep powder tree skiing and the terrain park, you'll enjoy your day at Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. Set atop Blacktail Mountain a beautiful three story lodge houses the ticket office, rental shop, Snow Sports School, retail store, cafeteria and Muley's full service restaurant and bar. Overlooking Lakeside with views from Flathead Lake to Glacier National Park and of the Mission, Whitefish and Cabinet Ranges surround. Plenty of parking is available right out the front doors. Our focus is affordable family skiing and boarding.

Young Bucks Technical Team is a 10 week program for intermediate-advanced skiers ages 7-12. Saturdays only, the program is designed for students who are ready to progress in all areas of their skiing learning to ski gates, bumps, powder, trees, carve groomers, ski the park and develop technical skills. The Young Bucks Race Team is a 13 week program for students who are interested in racing.
Muley's Pub and Restaurant is located on the third story of Blacktail Mountain Lodge, offering great views, full menu, and perfect apre ski! Upper Terminal Cafe is on the second floor,perfect for watching the kids in their first lesson. The Cafe offers quick lunches or bring your own.
Lodging available in nearby towns of Lakeside, Somers, Polson, Kalispell, and Bigfork.
